The year was 2020. Remember COVID? Everyone was talking about staying home, only Russians all wanted to get out and enjoy the spring they’d been waiting so long for. There were extra days off, after all! But case numbers were climbing with each passing day. Yandex responded by releasing a Self-Isolation Index showing how active cities were. When it took off, we turned it into a festival piece to show the world. After the index saved 80,000 people, our case study went on to win local and international awards.
